We spent a night at the Memory Motel

This was the very first image I took for my series Places in Songs. Having been going to Montauk for years the Memory Motel was famous locally for being mentioned in a song by the Rolling Stones. It’s been widely speculated that “Hannah Honey” with the curled nose is none other than Carly Simon. She and Jagger had been romantically linked around the time the song was written.
